Step Up Equity Partners LLC ("Step Up Equity," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect only what you choose to give us. If you submit our contact form, that includes your name, company, email address, the role you select, and your message. If you accept our Confidentiality Agreement and upload documents, that includes the files you upload along with your name, company, and email, plus a timestamp recording your acceptance. Our hosting provider may also log basic technical information, such as IP addresses, as part of operating the site. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social media pixels on this site.
We use your information for one purpose: evaluating and pursuing potential business relationships and transactions, and communicating with you about them. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Like most websites, we rely on service providers to operate: our website host (Netlify) processes form submissions, and our file storage provider (Google) stores uploaded documents. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Documents you upload under our Confidentiality Agreement are additionally protected by the terms of that agreement.
We keep inquiries and uploaded materials for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate the potential relationship or transaction, comply with legal and record-keeping obligations, and maintain our records. You may request return or destruction of uploaded materials as described in the Confidentiality Agreement.
Information submitted through this site is encrypted in transit, and uploaded documents are stored with encryption at rest by our storage provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
You can browse this site without providing any personal information. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, or to ask any question about this policy, email us at inquiries@stepupequity.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new date. Material changes will be noted prominently.
